I have been in recovery for some time following a severe slipped disk which was pushing on 3 nerves. I had surgery in 2019. I continued doing yoga and gentle exercise following my initial physiotherapy sessions. However I was still finding that I had some residual nerve pain and movement/flexibility issues. However, being a yoga teacher I was a little sceptical about whether this course would benefit me.
I am very pleased to say I was very wrong about that. My initial consultation was good, Miriam was very professional, empathetic and knowledgeable. She gave me specific exercises to try after each session. I saw an improvement right away. By the time I was half way through the course my pain levels had reduced by more than half. Coming to the end of the course and I barely have any pain at all. I’m really blown away by the positive results I have achieved with the support and guidance of Our Health Hub.
The exercises are easy to follow and you are in control of what you do and don’t do. While I understand that some days it’s very hard to get motivated to move, I’d recommend that extra effort. I had come to think that maybe I couldn’t improve any more than I had but this course has helped me reach levels I hadn’t thought possible.
I will continue to use the stretches long after I finish the course because I have experienced the benefit and I don’t want to go back. I’m impressed with how Our Health Hub has taken the limitations of a global pandemic and been able to produce an informative, well made course. Allowing their clients to take control of their own healing process in a positive way. I can’t recommend this course highly enough.
